APROMOS is an Australian deals discovery platform that helps consumers find promotions from online retailers. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information when you use our website or mobile application.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and display name when you create an account.
- Information generated through use: your favourites, deal-alert preferences, store/category/brand preferences, and interactions with the service.
- Device and push notification information: push notification tokens when you enable notifications, plus device type and operating system information.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, session and log data reasonably necessary to operate, maintain and secure the service.
- What we do not collect: APROMOS does not collect or store your retailer payment-card information.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account, favourites and deal alerts.
- To deliver push notifications and other communications you have requested.
- To improve, maintain and secure the service.
- To communicate with you about your account or important changes.
3. Sharing and service providers
We use trusted service providers to operate APROMOS. Supabase provides our backend, database and authentication infrastructure. Firebase Cloud Messaging may be used to deliver Android push notifications. These providers process data only as needed to perform their services.
APROMOS does not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers that are not described in this policy.
4. Third-party retailer links and affiliate links
APROMOS contains links to third-party retailer websites. Once you leave our platform, the retailer's privacy practices and terms apply. Affiliate links may allow participating retailers or networks to attribute referrals or purchases using their own tracking technologies and policies.
APROMOS does not receive your retailer payment-card information merely because you click a deal and complete a purchase on a retailer's website.
5. Data security and retention
We take reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active, or for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
6. Your choices and account deletion
- You can update your display name and other account details from your profile.
- You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
- You can request account deletion from your profile or by contacting us. When your account is deleted, we remove your profile, favourites, notification preferences and push tokens from our systems, except where retention is required by law.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date below and, where appropriate, through the service.
